A Message From Coach Pete

Pete Fry
Movement Specialist
Hi, I'm Pete Fry - a Movement Specialist from the UK - and I've been helping people get back to training after injury since 2014.

Shin splints can make you feel like you're stuck in a loop...

You rest, ice, maybe change your shoes…only for the pain to come back the moment you try to run again.

It’s not just frustrating - it’s demoralising.

You love to move, to train, to feel strong in your body...but instead, you're second-guessing every step, wondering if this pain is just something you’ll always have to manage.

You’re not alone - and more importantly, this isn’t something you just have to live with.

Most people try to treat Shin Splints by chasing symptoms: stretching, foam rolling, resting longer.

But until you address the real cause of the pain - the way your body loads and absorbs impact, the cycle continues.

That’s why I created The Shin Splint Solution: a step-by-step program built not just to get you out of pain, but to help you run stronger, smarter, and without fear of it all coming back.

Jeremy Overcame 9 Years Of Shin Pain In 12 Weeks Using This Program

"After struggling with chronic shin pain since 2016, I had almost given up hope.

Everything changed when I came across Pete. What stood out immediately was how genuine and thoughtful he was.

To my amazement, in less than three months, my shin pain — which had plagued me for nine years — was completely gone.

Pete's integrity, professionalism, and deep knowledge have been life-changing for me. I can’t thank him enough. I’ve even told him directly: I just wish I had found him sooner."

What Clients Are Saying

So, in case you’re wondering whether this is the real deal or not, it is.

I’m a Physio myself, but have not yet found another Physio that has been able to help me with my chronic overuse injuries from running. Pete spends so much time over the movement analysis, both in person and with video footage, to make sure he is on the right track.

To put it simply - an all round great guy who really knows what he’s talking about. You won’t be disappointed.

Pete was highly recommended to me by a friend and I understand why!

After struggling with knee pain over the last few years and visiting multiple physios, I got a place for the London Marathon, so decided to seek help. After just a few weeks I was able to run without discomfort.

I’m continuing to work with Pete and my daily exercises to enable to increase my mileage without worrying about my knee acting up, and it’s given me the confidence I needed to take on my first marathon.

I went for a run (to the bottom of my street) on bank holiday Monday and had to turn back and say hello again to my neighbours I just passed because my knee screamed at me in pain.

I’d been to the doctors a fortnight before and all I got was ‘Ibruprofen three times a day’ with no improvement after 10 days. Pete got in touch that day and an hour Skype session managed to get me moving with much less pain.

I've worked with Pete for years and even though I now live in London, I won’t work with anybody else!”

Bethan Davies

“Finished up an amazing 12 week program with @sportfunction and I feel like I’m running so much better.

Running feels easier and a feel like I’m floating along trails right now.

3 months of training has lead me to my first big race this year in 10 days time. The first time I’ve got myself to the start line without a major setback.”
